Current Focus
14-19 Learning
A key current focus for Proskills’ Wales Nations Group is the 14 – 19 Learning Pathways. This pilot project, funded by the Wales National Assembly, aims to transform young people’s options and opportunities by extending choice and flexibility; securing individually tailored learning pathways; and providing richer opportunities and experiences to develop the learners’ wider skills needed for life and work.
Sector Equality & Diversity
Proskills is currently working with local employers within the furniture sector and Careers Wales to develop resources aimed at increasing participation from young females into the furniture sector within Wales. If you are currently working within a school, local Careers Service or with a local employer and would like to participate in this project then please contact Joanne Thomas via the contact details provided below.
Proskills Executive Committee for Wales has been involved in the development of the Proskills SSA Action Plans with stakeholders within Wales. This group will continue to work with our Wales Manager to monitor delivery against these plans.
