Apprenticeship Issuing Authority - England
Proskills has been designated as the English Issuing Authority for Apprenticeship Frameworks in the printing, mineral extraction and processing, health and safety and process and manufacturing of furniture, glass, ceramics, coatings and paper sector (also includes glazing, building products, wood and mining).
As an English Issuing Authority Proskills has sole authority to issue Apprenticeship frameworks in England, in line with the directions and with regard to the guidance issued by the Secretary of State (see below) for the full range of skills, trades and occupations within the sector for which we have been designated.
Developing Frameworks
Employers and other organisations are able to propose a framework for development via the Apprenticeship Frameworks Online website, where this does not duplicate an existing framework. The website provides information on how to do this and what is involved in the process.
