- Safe Use of Power Tools
- Working practices / procedures / site documentation
- Carry out site surveys when required
- Preparation and Planning (inc. interpretation of drawings, levels, setting out etc)
- Cabinet Assembly
- Worktops installation, doors, handles, plinths etc
- Basic Plumbing Skills
- Installation of lights and Integrated Appliances (ensuring current compliance is met at all times)
- Project manage installations when required to do so

- Ability to perform manual tasks.
- Capable of understanding written instructions.
- Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
- Able to carry out basic mathematical calculations.
- Good communication Skills.
- Skills in Customer Care
- Computer and CAD literate.
- Skills in project management

This will be dependent on the job role at which you enter the industry; however if you have little or no experience 5 or more GCSEs at grade A to C are valued by employers. |
There are no fixed entry level requirements.
Qualifications valued by employers may include:
- GCSE’s, ideally grade A to C
- A Level’s
- 2 yr apprenticeship in Kitchen or Bedroom Installation
