Proskills Newsletter – July 2010
It’s my turn to welcome you to the Proskills UK Group newsletter this month at a time when the skills system is in disarray whilst we await information on who/what will be left standing after the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review in October.
However whilst we continue to lobby heavily for support on behalf of the ‘hidden’ manufacturing base that you are part of (with some success as you’ll see below), we are moving ahead on many fronts with our Schools Programmes, Funding Opportunities and with the Proskills Academy. As this last area is my responsibility, let me make a plug for you to visit our new website www.mps-academy.co.uk where you will find a plethora of diagnostic tools (many of which are free) along with an extensive library of e-learning material at prices less that you will find on the publishers’ websites… plus many resources.
