The Proskills Sector Compact and the Sustainable Workforce Pledge
Driving productivity and competitiveness through skills
What is the Compact?
A £62 Million training fund is being made available to employers in the process and manufacturing sector through an agreement, Train to Gain Sector Compact, negotiated by Proskills with the Government and the Learning and Skills Council (LSC). This agreement introduces significant flexibilities for employers into the Train to Gain funding system, giving more employers the opportunity to take advantage of funding to upskill their workforces.
The Compact represents a vital component in driving the skills levels across the Process and Manufacturing Sector and ensuring sustainability for its industries.
