Apprenticeship Week 2011 celebrates the talents and skills of apprentices.
The aim of the week is to raise the profile of apprenticeships in the workplace, highlight the benefits of apprenticeships in tackling crucial skills shortages, celebrate the achievements of apprentices and the role they play in today’s business, and encourage more employers to take on apprentices.

About Apprenticeship Week
Launched in 2008 by the Learning and Skills Council, Apprenticeship Week 2010 marks the third year of this successful initiative to demonstrate the key role apprenticeships play in ensuring that the UK workforce has the skills it needs to remain competitive.
