The Proskills UK Group comprises of two arms to the business – the Sector Skills Council (SSC) and the National Skills Academy for Materials, Production & Supply
The SSC focus is on the development of standards and qualifications, researching industry needs and trends and engaging with employers through the Industry Boards, with the Government and their agencies, as well as with other partner organisations.
The Proskills Group Board sets the organisation’s overall strategic direction, ensuring we respond directly to the training and skills needs of companies in the Process and Manufacturing Sector.
The Academy focus is on coordinating the development and delivery of a sustainable, employer-driven education and skills programme to the process and manufacturing sector through an accredited training provider network. It will also be responsible for the development of a wide range of employer-endorsed products and services.
The Sector Skills Council and the National Skills Academy for Materials, Production & Supply will work together to the benefit of the sector.
