Proskills UK is an employer-led organisation that represents the interests of the industries that make up the process and manufacturing sector to government.

In collaboration with our employers we work towards ensuring the sustainability of the sector.

The Proskills UK Group comprises of two arms to the business – the Sector Skills Council (SSC) and the National Skills Academy for Materials, Production & Supply

The SSC focus will be on the development of standards and qualifications, researching industry needs and trends as well as strategic engagement with employers through the Industry Boards, with the Government and their agencies, as well as with other partner organizations.

The Academy focus will on coordinating the development and delivery of a sustainable, employer-driven education and skills programme to the process and manufacturing sector through an accredited training provider network. It will also be responsible for the development of a wide range of employer-endorsed products and services.

The Sector Skills Council and the National Skills Academy for Materials, Production & Supply will work together to the benefit of the sector.
