Proskills Training Provider Network
As part of our work to ensure that our employers have access to the right training provision to meet the current and future needs of their businesses, Proskills is setting up regional and national training provider networks.
We have been tasked by our employers to guarantee them access to training that is both relevant and quality assured. The establishment of a Proskills Training Provider Network will support us in meeting this goal.
Step One – Building the Network
Although we already work in close partnership with many training providers, there are still some providers that we have not yet engaged with or are even aware of. Even in the case of those we have engaged with, we may not be fully aware of all the services provided.
We therefore need to capture the details of all potential providers of training that might be relevant to our industries and establish the full available training offer. This includes generic training (e.g. Business Improvement Techniques, Management & Leadership and Skills for Life/Basic Skills/Essential Skills) as well as specialist (industry-specific) training provision.
To ensure we capture the information we require, we have designed a simple online registration form.
.
Step Two – Investigation – looking at opportunities to work with our industries
Once we have captured your details, a member of Proskills engagement team will contact you within 14 days of submission to discuss the details of your registration with you further and to investigate with you the opportunities to work with our industries and to become part of our Training Provider Network.
Why should you join the network?
Joining the network will give you:
- Access to more learners from the process and manufacturing sector, especially through the National Skills Academy for the Materials, Production & Supply
- Enable you to share best practice and exchange ideas with other members of the network, thus allowing you to strengthen your position and potentially expand your offer
- Enable you to position yourself better (equal opportunity basis) with respect to securing and competing for potential new training deals as Proskills will filter all training enquiries to members of the network on an ‘open competition’ basis
- Support from Proskills working towards the achievement of the new Training Quality Standard and Academy accreditation by enabling you to accumulate and or evidence the required experience and expertise working in the process and manufacturing sector
- Become part of the Academy Training Provider Network which will be promoted via a dedicated marketing campaign
- Access to a network of accredited assessors and verifiers if internal capacity falls short
- Use of Proskills training planning tools
