Hello and welcome to the Proskills October newsletter.

October has been a busy month for Proskills with lots of exciting developments.

The launch of our brand new website,
www.proskills.co.uk has made it even easier for employers, stakeholders and career seekers to navigate, find relevant information and research applicable to the sector and individual industries.

As this new website is database driven, we have implemented a 'Search' facility for ease of use along with a whole host of other features.

As ever, your feedback is always appreciated - so please feel free to email any comments or suggestions to info@proskills.co.uk

Window scrappage petition - we have 1,000 votes but need at least 10,000

Nigel Rees, GGF Chief Executive has set up a government petition which we hope you will sign. This scheme would allow householders and landlords to scrap their old poorly insulated windows for a cash incentive of £1,000 to be used against the purchase of new professionally installed energy efficient windows.

The Scheme would allow for an improvement to the existing housing stock to reduce Carbon and CO2 emissions and cut household energy bills. The Scheme to be open only to companies who professionally install windows with a 'C' Window Energy Rating or above and who responsibly recycle the existing windows that are removed.
